Rangoli Maker is designed with privacy by default.

No Account Required: You do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal details (such as your name, email, phone number, or physical address) to use the App.

Offline First & Local Storage: Your rangoli designs, custom patterns, color palettes, and settings are saved locally on your device using local storage (
AsyncStorage). We do not host, store, or transmit your private drawings to our own remote servers.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Artwork & Designs: Any Rangoli, Kolam, or Mandala patterns you create or customize remain exclusively on your device.

Preferences & Settings: Canvas preferences (grid visibility, snap-to-dot settings, brush sizes, theme, and language preferences) are stored strictly on your local device.
B. Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions solely to provide specific features:

Storage / Photos & Media (
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required only when you choose to export, save, or download your created Rangoli artwork to your device's photo gallery, or import background images for tracing. The App does not access, read, or upload any other personal photos from your gallery. -
Internet Permission (
INTERNET): Used for standard network connectivity, downloading optional pattern templates or assets, loading external links (such as support or policy pages), and serving advertisements (if enabled).
C. Automatically Collected Technical Information
When you use the App, standard technical diagnostic data may be collected by platform providers (such as Google Play Services or Apple App Store), including:
- Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
- App performance statistics, crash logs, and diagnostic reports (to help us fix bugs and improve performance)
Third-Party Services & Advertising
The App may use third-party service providers that collect information used to identify you or provide services:

User Rights & Data Deletion
Since your artwork and preferences are stored locally on your device:

Clear Data at Any Time: You can delete all your stored drawings, patterns, and preferences at any time by navigating to Settings > Clear All Data within the App, or by clearing the App's storage via your device settings.

Uninstall: Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally saved data and settings associated with the App.
Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Rangoli Maker is designed for users of all ages, including families and creative learners.
- We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
- If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary steps to remove that information.
Security
We value your trust in using our App. All user-generated content resides on your personal device storage. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or wireless transmission is 100% secure.
