1. Information We Collect

NetMeter's core functionality does not require you to create an account and does not require you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

The App may access network-related information on your Android device, including:

• • Network throughput information used to calculate current speed
• • Wi-Fi data usage statistics
• • Mobile data usage statistics
• • Dates and amounts of network data usage

This information is used to provide the App's speed-monitoring and data-tracking features.

2. How Network Information Is Used

Network information is used only to:

• • Calculate daily network usage
• • Separate Wi-Fi and mobile data usage
• • Calculate monthly data usage
• • Provide the speed indicator and related functionality

3. Local Processing

The App is designed so that its core network-monitoring functionality operates locally on your Android device.

Network usage statistics used by the App are not uploaded to our servers as part of the core functionality.

4. No Account Required

NetMeter does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use its core features.

5. Data Sharing

The core version of NetMeter does not sell or share your network usage information with third parties.

If future versions introduce third-party services or advertising SDKs that collect information, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated as required.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the core monitoring functionality is designed to operate locally, network usage information stored by the App remains on your device.

You can remove locally stored App data by using Android's App settings or by uninstalling the App.

7. Third-Party Services

The core version of NetMeter does not require external servers or third-party services to measure network speed or display device network usage.

If third-party SDKs are added in future versions, their data practices will be disclosed appropriately.

8. Permissions

NetMeter requests only permissions necessary for its advertised functionality.

Depending on the Android version and implementation, the App may request permissions related to network access, notifications, and foreground operation.

These permissions are used to provide network monitoring and speed-indicator functionality.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. Since the core network monitoring functionality is processed locally, network usage information is not transmitted to our servers as part of the core functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

NetMeter is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's functionality, data practices, or applicable requirements change.

The updated policy will be published with a new effective date.
